Cesarom’s participation at Cersaie 2026, held in Bologna from 21 to 25 September, marked the first public preview of the brand’s new direction and its repositioning starting in 2027. At the heart of this evolution is a clear promise: Advanced ceramic surfaces designed for long-lasting comfort.
An open booth built around discovery.
An invitation to look beyond the surface.
A space where design becomes an experience.
At Cersaie, the largest international trade fair dedicated to ceramic tiles, the Cesarom booth was designed as a creative studio – a space where industry professionals and distribution partners could see, touch and test the advanced surfaces previewed for 2027.
The concept brought together three experiences:
- STYLE ME – an invitation to explore design through colour, shapes and combinations that offer the freedom to express one’s own style;
- TOUCH ME – made for the senses, with a focus on textures and tactile sensations;
- TEST ME – a new depth to ceramic surfaces through the proven performance of state-of-the-art technology that allows colour to penetrate the body of the tile, delivering proven resistance to heavy-traffic, scratching and staining.
Technology integrated into the creative process.
Cesarom advanced ceramic surfaces were presented through two complementary directions, where design gives technology relevance and emotional meaning, while technology helps the surfaces retain their design over time.
Emotional Surfaces: An invitation to touch, to feel and experience the space.
Inspired by the shapes, textures and natural shades, Emotional Surfaces invite people to discover spaces through sight and touch. Collections such as Velvet, Patagonia and Balance highlight the character of the material and its expressive potential, for spaces with personality and comfort.
TECH Surfaces: A long-lasting result of technical advancement.
Soluble inks penetrate up to 0.5 mm into the body of porcelain ceramic tiles, embedding colour within the structure of the material. This technology helps preserve colour and surface integrity under prolonged mechanical wear. PEI abrasion-resistance tests reach up to 500,000 revolutions. The technology combines depth with performance, meeting the demanding requirements of high-traffic spaces.
The Cesarom presence at Cersaie reflected a collaborative model of product development in which designers, ceramic specialists and distribution partners each contributed with their own expertise.
